AGRIOS Wild Caught Flathead are sustainably caught in the pristine waters of the Great Australian Bight. They have been carefully deboned, descaled and filleted into generous portions. Our deep water flathead has a finely textured flesh with a sweet taste that can be prepared in many ways.

THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

Thaw in refrigerator overnight and cook thoroughly prior to consumption. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours. Do not refreeze.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

This product must be cooked before consumption. Thaw prior to cooking.

PAN FRY
  1. Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil or butter.
  2. Add flathead and using a spatula, press the fish down gently.
  3. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until fish is cooked.
  4. Season to taste.
OVEN BAKE
  1. Preheat fan forced oven to 180°C.
  2. Place flathead portions on a lined baking tray and put into oven.
  3. Bake for 12 minutes, or until fish is cooked through.
  4. Season to taste.
